22 Apr New York Bridal Market and LL Cool J!?
Bridal Market is always fun but fast paced! I always return to North Carolina a little tired but excited to bring new gowns and ideas to Bellissima brides. Some of my favorite gowns this season were from Kelly Faetanini and Robert Bullock. Kelly’s collection was amazing! Kelly created the most beautiful gowns using color blocking with blush and mochas. She had fun flirty feather gowns and chevron detailing that will be so flattering for brides. I’m still trying to decide which gowns to bring to Bellissima. I want them all! I was equally in love with Robert Bullock’s newest collection. He created gowns with a stunning hand painted fabric. Bellissima brides will fall in love with this stunning new luxurious fabric! One of my favorite gowns from Robert was “Pink” a mermaid gown with layers of ruffles.
I was even more excited for market this year because I took my favorite person to market with me. My son, Grant traveled with me. He had a great time meeting designers and learning a little more about what mom does. He particularly enjoyed The Lion King and FAO Schwarz.
And then….I met the coolest guy, LL Cool J! Oh my, it was my trip highlight. I have to say he was beyond nice, friendly and super cool. What can I say, it was a blast! I will always remember 2015 April Bridal Market as the best!
